As a calligrapher, he is particularly remarkable for his K‘ai-Shu or Regular Style. In this example it will be noticed that the number and arrangement of strokes of HsiaoChiian is adopted, though the pattern is different. The strokes have a free appearance.
One can almost feel the writer letting his brush turn in his hand, following the curves of the characters
