Pijemont was a daily published in Belgrade between 1911 and 1915. Ljubomir S. Jovanović was the owner and editor and he was succeeded by Branko Božović. Jevrem Jezdimirović, Milan R. Jovanović, Novak Radojević, Kosta Luković and Gaja Konstantinović were also the editors. As of 1913 Pijemont merged with Nova straža. By representing the programme of the “Unification or Death” organization and promoting the struggle for unification, the newspaper requested better military equipment and organization. The programme of the newspaper was against radicals and published articles about political and other social problems, the need to create Balkan federation, cultural events, and literary contributions. When Serbia was occupied in 1915, its publication ceased.
