“Srpski narod” is a weekly which was published in Belgrade during the Second World War from 1942 to 1944. Mihailo Stankovic was the owner of the journal and Velibor Jonic was the editor-in-chief. Jonic was a famous pre-war fascist, a professor, minster of education and religion in Milan Nedic’s government. The editor of this journal published advertising and political texts which glorified the occupant and invited people to fight against communists and to obey the occupant. Moreover, he published appendices regarding religion, literature, film, theatre and culture in general.
