This is a daily newspaper published mostly in Belgrade from 1893 to 1929. It was re-established after the First World War in 1918. From 1914 to 1918 the newspaper was published in Niš with the editorial board slightely changed. Ljubomir Bojović was the owner and editor. With time several editors changed. Before the war Milan P. Savčić was the owner and editor. This newspaper promoted the principles of the Liberal Party, and they were opposed to the Radical party. In addition to political and cultural news, there were literary essays, which were often about foreign literature. In 1909 the newspaper changed its name to Jutarnje novosti, 1919 to Novosti and in 1918 they restored the old name Večernje novosti. The paper also changed its subtitle. It was published as Nezavisan politički list, Nezavisan narodni list, Jutarnje izdanje, Nezavisan list, Nezavisan politički i društveni list. The newspaper has not been preserved.
