Wednesday, September 22, 12 h3O min Little theatre "Duško Radović", Belgrade, Serbia CLASSROOM PERFORMANCE FOR CLASS COMMUNITY Moderator: Stevan Bodroža, theatre director, Belgrade, Serbia UK"Parobrod" (duration: 90 min) Ability of youth theatre, and specially theatre for adolescents, to stand with to often ignored and neglected problems of this population, with an ambition to explore valuable answers on question what is the cause of violent behaviour between teenagers, is inducement to initiation of a project based on the piece by British playwright Nigel Williams Class Enemy. With an analyse of causes for problematic behaviour, and constructive critic of social and educational system, this project and performance which will be made out of it, are having a chance to raise the awareness on this problem, and help by finding ways for recognising and possible overcoming. Aim of the project is a production made in new drama form known as the classroom performance, where group of actors is going directly into the schools, and within one school class, among pupils who are sitting in their desks, performs a piece. Project moderator and director of the performance Class Enemy is Stevan Bodroža, theatre director and drama pedagogue, with great experience in work with young people and in direction of youth performances. He is going to work with senior acting students of theatre faculties, and part of the project team will be a group of psychologists who will moderate the discussions after performances. This presentation will mark the start of the project and performance that is going to be presented on 12 th Bitef Polyphony 2011, together with documentary made out of materials filmed during their visits to schools.
