(A PACKAGE FOR CHEKHOV) UK„Parobrod"(duration 90 min) With this programme segment Bitef Polyphony joins the celebration of the 150 th birth anniversary of the Russian classic A.P. Chekhov and the search for new Chekhov and ways and means to reveal him, as a writer who makes a mandatory part of the curriculum, to the pupils through innovative, creative and interactive methods and techniques of'drama and theatre in education'. There will be presentations by theatres from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, currently staging their versions of Chekhov -The Three Sisters primarily-which will have their workshops showing so-called teachers' packages and direct education of teachers. This will be supplemented by the virtual exchange of ideas and suggestions from invited theatre experts of the DICE project from Hungary, United Kingdom, Poland, The Netherlands, Slovenia, Rumania, the Czech Republic, Gaza Belt, Norway, Portugal and Sweden. "To work!" remains the motto rounding off the programme of the eleventh BITEF Polyphony and inaugurating activities to be presented at the 12 th BITEF Polyphony in 2011. Nothing shuts down!
