The novel observes this living space from the historical perspective but there is also the subjective angle. The director has analysed this so-called multicultural environment very severely and in great detail and shown in its segments the weak points of coexistence of multiple ethnicities in a very profound and even painful way.

Neoplanta thus is not just a story about Novi Sad. This production is also a story about whether we are mature enough to deal with the past anomalies, whether we are courageous enough to live with dignity in the present and if we are responsible enough regarding our future.
