DRAFT OF JUE 1985 WHCR CONCEPTUAL MANUAL WHCR is the Radio Station of The City Coltege of New Yorß . The transmitter and studio facilities are on the campus of City College. The main office is in Room 1/2 15 of the North Academic Center , between Amsterdam Avenue and Convent Avenue at 138 th Street. As you Know from the cover , what you are holding is called The WHCR Conceptual Manual . If you don't know what that is, don't worry, because, as far as we know , there are few if апу other "conceptual manuals" for radio stations around . That's because , in many ,ways , WHCR is a unigue rađio station , which is different from most of the radio stations you are used to listening to . The WHCR Conceptual Manual explains the concepts behind our radio station which we think make WHCR different. If you are Just interested in findmg out about WHCR , and how you might become involved with it, you should read the first section of this manual. While you read that section, you may be interested in more details about WHCR and how you might fit in . If you are , you can follow up an anything that ihterests you by turning to the OTHER sections of the manual that you are directed to from Section One .
