This identification of the Kast of our inscription with Kastabala in Cilicia now gives us the clue not only to the Cilician source of the Sun-cult imported into North Britain by this Phceenician Barat prince, but it also supplies a clue to his own personal appearance and dress. Note: These two representations of same scene, which are partly defaced, complement each other. The king whoisshaking hands with the Sun-god (with rayed haloina) presumably illustrates dress and physique of the Sun-worshipper, King Prat or Prwt, who also came from the same region.
