Wednesday, 24 September 11:00 Bosko Buha Theatre, Belgrade, Serbia PLAY Interactive production for children Idea, direction and lighting design: Sara Topsoe-Jensen, Carte Blanche, Viborg, Denmark Costumes: Tina Bukumirovic Cast; Ivan Jevtovic, Marija Miienkovic, Milena Nikolic, Ana Markovic, Nermin Ahmetovic Discussion with the public and thematic symposium after the performance Location: Bosko Buha Theatre Duration: 1h Age: 6 + Limited number of seats. Price: 300 dinars This is a performance about the nature of the play, imaginative play in which we forget the reality. Serious plays - when we face dangers. Entertaining plays - when we laugh at ourselves. Cruel plays - when some are in and the others out. Four adults play. They create words from nothing. They invite us to hear about a time when they were adult and when they forgot how important it was to play. In this performance children are not only the spectators, but also participate in the play, promising they will play as long as they live. This is an interactive production made as a result of the initiative and a workshop at Bitef Polyphony 2007. It is the project of the Bosko Buha Theatre in Belgrade in cooperation with Carte Blanche Theatre from Viborg, Denmark. It is based on the experience gained with the Danish production Play and represents its Serbian version. The project is supported by ASSITEJ Centres in Serbia and Denmark. It was initiated by Peter Jankovic, the artistic director of the Lampe Theatre in Copenhagen and president of ASSITEJ Denmark.
