JURY

, president of the Jury is lecturer and researcher (Department of Cultural Studies, Department of European and Slavonic Studies), curator, performing arts critic, columnist, interpreter. He regularly contributes research papers and reviews to Polish (Dwutygodnik, Didaskalia, Dialog, Czas Kultury, etc.), Serbian (Scena) and different international journals. Injac is the author of Postpoliticality - an Anthology of New Serbian Ploys (Kracow, 2011) the first anthology presenting contemporary Serbian playwriting in Poland and most recently: Performing the Balkans, Drama-Ritual-Society (Poznan, 2012) collection of works questioning the condition of contemporary societies in the Balkans trough performing arts. He is permanent cooperate of Zbigniew Raszewski -Theatre Institute in Warsaw and Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Warsaw. As an independent curator he cooperates with numerous international performing arts festivals, theatre and art institutes, and diverse independent artist/artistic groups worldwide. At the moment he is a member of the curatorial board of the East European Performing Arts Platform. His work has been supported by various international awards and scholarships: the Book Institute, Kracow - Literary Awards for translation and promotion of contemporary Polish playwriting; the Polish Ministry of Science Award for outstanding achievements in humanities: Vishegradfund Award; the Research Council of Norway Award; Mianowski Award of Polish Science Foundation and Austrian Ministry of Science Award - among others.

JEAN-PIERRE THIBAUDAT

is writer and columnist, artistic director of the Festival Passages (Metz, France). He is writing for blog Theatre et balogan (about theatre and eastern culture) and for the electronic newspaper Rue.B9. com (found by formers journalists of Liberation). 1978-1986 he was working as journalist and reporter at Liberation (daily newspaper, child of "May 58") and from 1996- 2000 he was correspondent in Moscow. ELISABETH SCHACK

was born in Vienna, 1977. Since 2007 dramaturge/curatorat Wiener Festwochen, in the team with the director of performing arts Stefanie Carp, 2003 till 2007 assistant of the director of performing arts at Wiener Festwochen, Marie Zimmermann. She studied theatre arts and Spanish at the University Vienna and did her postgraduate degree in cultural management at the Theatre and Music University Hamburg, Germany. She worked as assistant dramaturge and production leader for several theatres and festivals in Austria and Germany (Burgtheater, Klangbogen, Theater an der Wien, dietheater, Kampnagel Hamburg,...) and for the Austrian Cultural Forum in Rome.

ĐURĐA TEŠIČ

graduated in theatre direction form the Faculty of dramatic Arts in Belgrade, in 2002 she worked for the Centre for New theatre and Dance. She is also interested in theatre for children and young people and diirected some audio works (radio plays, audio books). MAJA MIRKOVIČ

operates in the field of Costume design, visual arts, theory of performing arts and poetry and has participated in more than a hundred different projects within these various subjects both in Serbia, regionally and internationally. She has received many awards for her costume design at theatre festivals in Serbia, as well as the biggest national award in the realm of theatre making (Sterijino Pozorje 2011). Maja graduated and mastered from the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design and studied in the Group for Stage Design at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She is a member of Serbian Association of Artists of Applied Arts and Design and a correspondent of TkH (Walking Theory) magazine for performing arts.

BITEF AWARDS

Traditionally, Bitef jury gives two awards. The Grand Prix „Mira Trailović" for the best performance in general, and the Special Prize for the performance outstanding in one of its elements. Apart from these two, Politika Award for the best director will be awarded for 35 01 time on this year’s Bitef. This award is given by the jury of journalists and critics of the oldest newspaper in Serbia.
