★ HANS-WERNER KROESINGER (80nn,1962) studied Drama, Theater and Media from 1983 until 1988 at the Institute for Applied Drama in Giessen with Andrzej Wirth and Hans-Thies Lehmann. During his studies he worked as Robert Wilson’s assistant and dramaturg for two years. In 1989 he became the artistic collaborator of Heiner Müller for the production Hamlet/Hamletmaschine at the Deutsche Theater Berlin. His own productions have been shown in numerous theatres since 1993, for example the Berliner Ensemble, the Staatstheater Stuttgart, the Bayrische Staatschauspiel or the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. Kroesinger’s plays have also been shown on many stages of the free scene such as the HAU Hebbel am Ufer, the Sophiensaelen, at the Radialsystem, at theStaatsbank and at Podewil Berlin, at the FFT Düsseldorf, at Festspielhaus Dresden-Hellerau and the Theaterhaus Gessnerallee Zürich. His works have been invited to renowned national and international festivals. In 2007 he obtained the Brüder-GrimmPreis des Landes Berlin for his youth play Kindertransporte at the Berliner Theater an der Parkaue. In 2012 he was a guest lecturer at the Ruhr University Bochum for Scenic Writing. His latest productions at HAU were: Feldpost 2012, Wellenartillerie Telefunken, Darfur - Mission Incomplete, CAPITALPoIitics and Ruanda Revisited.

★ regine dura is a director and writer. She studied political science, theatre, film and media studies, German, and art education in Marburg and Frankfurt am Main and video at the University of the Arts Berlin. Since 1996 she has been working freelance in the area of fiction and documentary film, including for the European Film Academy and Wim Wenders Produktion in Berlin, Tall Stories and Darlow Smithson Film in London. She has also served as a film curator and jury member. Her engagement with the transformation process in South Africa led to her 2012 documentary White Blood/Weisses Blut (ZDF/Arte) about a racist German-South African adoption service and a radio feature for WDR (2013). Regine Dura has received grants from the German-Canadian Society, the German Federal Film Board (FFA), the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the DEFA Foundation. Since 2000 she has been collaborating with Hans-Werner Kroesinger.
