X ALEKSANDRA JOVIĆEVIĆ je redovni profesor na odseku za Istoriju umetnosti i spektakla (Dipartimento di storia dell'arte e spettacolo) na univerzitetu La Sapienza u Rimu, koordinator doktorskih studija na istom odseku i gostujud profesor na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu. Diplomirala je dramaturgiju na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu, magistrirala i doktorirala na odseku za studije performansa Univerziteta u Njujorku (Department of Performance Studies, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University). Od 1993. do 2008. godine bila je profesor na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu, a od 2006. do 2007. Fulbrajtov stipendista na univerzitetu Jel (Yale University, SAD). Osnivač je i član Foruma pisaca, nezavisne asocijacije pisaca u Srbiji. Prevela je. priredila i objavila veliki broj stručnih radova i knjiga u zemlji i inostranstvu i učestvovala u uređivanju stručnih časopisa. Za unapredenje kulturne saradnje sa Italijom dobiia je 2005. godine orden predsednika italijanske republike (Stella di solidareitä, titula Commendatore).
x ALEKSANDRA JOVIĆEVIĆ is a full time professor at the Department of History of Arts and Performance (Dipartimento di storia dell’arte e spettacolo) at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, Coordinator of Doctoral Studies at the same department, and a visiting professor at the School of Drama, University of Arts in Belgrade. She gained her BA at the Department of Dramaturgy at the same university, and her MA and PhD at the Department of Performance Studies, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University in New York. She worked as a professor at the School of Drama. University of Arts in Belgrade, between 1993 and 2008, and was a Fulbright.scholar at the Yale University, USA, in 2006/07. Aleksandra Jovićević is the founder and a member of the Forum of Writers (Forum pisaca), an independent association of Serbian Writers. She has translated, edited and published a number of scholarly works and books nationally and internationally, and took part in editing different journals, For her promotion of the cultural collaboration with Italy, she has gained a medal from the President of the Italian Republic, Ordine della Stella della solidarietä italiana, with the title Commendatore in 2005.
