FESTIVAL MANAGEMENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR YOUNG MANAGERS AND PRODUCERS IN CULTURE

Kada se govori o Bitefu u kontekstu savremenog svetskog pozorišta, najčešće se misli na njegov programsko-unnetnički značaj i selekciju u kojoj su svoje mesto našl i skoro svi za istoriju teatra XX i početka XXI veka relevantni autori. Bitef je svih ovih godina davao prostor novim umetničkim tendencijama, ali i brinuo o savremenim kretanjima u oblasti festivalskog menadžmenta i pozorišne produkcije. Novine u umetničkom izrazu neraskidivo su bile povezane sa inovativnim praksama pozorišne organizacije. Zato s pravom možemo reel da je istorija Bitefa i istorija savremenog menadžmenta festivala.

Aktuelni model organizacije Bitefa je spoj nasleđenih vrednosti i savremenih tendeneija u menadžmentu, ozbiljnog strateškog promišljanja i spontano nastalih praksi, menadžmenta u kulturi, kriznog menadžmenta i agilnog projektnog menadžmenta. U tom smislu, on predstavlja potentnu studiju slučaja kako u lokalnom tako i u međunarodnom kontekstu.

Tokom trajanja 52. Bitefa, tim festivala zajedno sa eksternim stručnjacima i mladim kolegama iz celog sveta, u cilju istraživanja i sticanja novih praktičnih iskustava, izvršiće „menadžersku vivisekeiju" nad Bitefom. Petodnevni edukativni program osmišljen je kao razmena znanja, ideja i iskustava između stručnjaka i iskusnijih festivalskih menadžera i njihovih mlađih kolega. Program je baziran na razlidtim edukativnim formatima kao što su: mentorski rad, interšip, stručna predavanja, radionice i prezentaeije, s ciljem da se otvori prostor za unapredivanje postojedh i sticanje novih znanja i veština, te za dalji profesionalni razvoj i napredak u karijeri.

When talking about Bitef within the context of the modern world theatre, one usually has in mind its programme and artistic significance as well as the selection which encompassed almost all the authors of relevance for the history of theatre in the 20 th and early 21 st century. During all those years, Bitef made room for new artistic tendencies and promoted the evolution in festival management and theatre production.

The novelties in artistic expression are inextricably linked with innovative practices in theatre organisation. For that reason, we can rightfully say that the history of Bitef is also the history of modern festival management.

The current model of Bitef organisation is a blend of inherited values and modern management tendencies, serious strategic analysis and spontaneously arisen practices, management in culture, crisis management and agile project management. In that sense, it is a potent case study both in the local and in the international context.

In the course of 52 nd Bitef, the festival team with outside experts and young colleagues across the world will perform a "managerial vivisection" of Bitef in order to explore and acquire new practical experience. A five-day educational programme should promote the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences of experts and more experienced festival managers and their younger colleagues. The programme is based on different educational formats such as work with mentors, internship, lectures, workshops and presentations so as to open space for the promotion of the existing and acquisition of new know-how as well as further professional evolution and career advancement. 157
