production in Yugoslavia did not comprise one singleTV critic although it is their job to foliow television and, as they certainly see the most programmes, they also feel competent to give an assessment. That is thy one of the questions in the questionnaire ran: Аге TV reviews essential to the TV programes? It seems that there can be no doubt on this subject; with the exception of six people involved in the creation of television programmes, more than eighty of the most eminent writers of Yugoslav television programmes who took part in the enquiry replied that reviews аге essential. Despite the positive answer, four of them consider that reviews are in principle essential, which does not mean that the reviews published in the press today are useful. Two wrote as follows: »Necessary - yes, essential - no«. Five emphasized their positive replies with »extremely« and »very«, while the reply from Sandi Čolnik, a Ljubljana TV reporter was as follows: »It should be, at its best«. The great interest in television reviews was also illustrated by the replies to the following question: D° уои read TV reviews and, if so, in which newspapers? There is not one single person involved in the creation of television programmes who does not follow television reviews.
