Dimitrije Mitrinovié lived the greater part of his life in England, mostly in London, from 1914 until his death in 1953. By the time he left his native land as a very young man, he already had a high reputation as one of the leading figures in the modern culture of his nation. His writings in Serbo-Croat are now being republished in Yugoslavia, and we take it as one of our tasks to make his English writings available, both to readers of English and for translation.
