“Glas naroda” was published once a week in Novi Sad from 1871 to 1976. After a long break it was published in Stari Becej and Backo Dobro Polje from 1886 to 1887. The journal contained articles and appendices regarding folklore, economy, market, craft, trade. It was instructive and fun. “Zadruga za srpsku narodnu štampariju” was the owner and the publisher and Panta Popovic was its first editor. After him, the journal was edited by Vladan Arsenijevic and Stevan V. Popovic. It is not known by when the journal was published but there is data in Yugoslav printing of Jovan Skerlic that it was published by 1893.
