Balkanija is the company for foreign and domestic trade dealing with great succes with export-import transactions, agency, domestic sale and servicing and repair of passenger and commercial motor vehicles since 1950. Balkanija is the general agent of about 70 companies from Europe, Asia and the United States for the wide range of products such as energetics, mining and engineering industry, chemical and rubber industry, electronics, medical equipment, tools and tool machines, car industry, consumer goods, printing industry, etc. At the same time Balkanija is an important partner of local companies concerning the export of goods on the markets of Europe, Asia, Africa, America, Australia and New Zealand. Nevertheless, the range of activities is not finished with this. By investing in domestic industry, international cooperation and engineering transactions, we have expanded both the scope of agency activities and import of goods in the fields connected closely with our cooperation with foreign and domestic manufacturers as well. In our tourist agency tickets for domestic and foreign aír transport companies are available both for our business partners and other citizens as wen. i ne tourist agency has the great experience in organizing tourist tours in our country and abroad as well as vacations in famous tourist centres along the Adriatic Coast, in the mountain resorts and spas. As for our domestic trade we have directed our efforts to automotive industry. Apart from the sale of passenger cars, freight and commercial vehicles, and agricultural machinery, we also provide servicing, spare parts, equipment and raw-materials, and our sales network covers the whole territory of Yugoslavia. FOREIGN TRADE DIVISION All representation activities, export-import transactions, cooperation, engineering and servicing, which are in accordance with the agency programmes, are gathered in the Foreign Trade Division. Customs and transport departments are also organized for our own needs. The foreign trade activities are also managed through our branch-offices located in Prague, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Rijeka, Skopje, Sarajevo and Split. We have our agents in Marocco, Egypt, West Germany and in a few Asian countrieds. Within the Foreign Trade Division the following range of products is included in their programme of activities: - passenger cars and trucks, - vehicles for public transportation, - commercial motor vehicles and special vehicles, - motorcycles, - equipment and spare parts for all sorts of vehicles, - machines and engines, - airplanes, - vessels and equipment, - optical instruments, - photographic instruments, - cinematographic instruments, - measuring and control instruments, - fine measuring instruments, - medical and surgical instruments, - devices for recording and sound reproducing, - TV sets and their parts, - artificial resins and plastics, -celluloid ethers, - ethers and products made of such materials, - plain metals and their products, - machines and devices, - electric equipment and parts, - ceramics, - glass and products made of glass, - air-conditioners and plants for environment simulation, - professional TV equipment and audio visual products, - equipment for mining, chemical and rubber industry, - complete energetic plants, - pumps, compressors and fittings, - printing machines and devices, - sports equipment, - hunting and fishing equipment, - school and office supplies, - leather goods, etc. DOMESTIC TRADE DIVISION Domestic trade and car repairing service are mainly directed to passenger cars, trucks, delivery, commercial and special vehicles. Our passenger car programme comprises selling and servicing of cars ZASTAVA, ŠKODA, WARTBURG, TRABANT, as well as of motorcycles and scooters. Special programmes comprise construction machinery and equipment, forestry machinery and equipment, machine tools, raw materials, tyres and protective equipment. Service and sale centre in Beška comprises agricultural machinery and equipment, implements for agricultural machinery, plant protection means, chemical fertalizers and repair service for IMT programme and the complete assortment of spare parts.
