It is a family. It is a city - always moving. it is a movable giant. It takes a lot of sweat, effort, and dangerforjust a small wave of excitement and laughterto cross to thè other continent. All the nations of the world are ¡n it, butall ofthem together are one unbreakable dan and they are different from everybody else in the world. But still, women and men nonchalantiy entering the cages of growling iions, who fly through the air as if it comes natural to them, who nail the pegs, pull the ropes, raise tents and transform theempty space into a magical world ofwonders, they are very similar to those people sitting on wooden benches, under the high roof ofthetent and for several hours enjoy the wonders from the childhood - on a circus day. That is what I wanted to show on the screen." I didn't mite thè Bible and I didn't create sin. Cecil B.
