FORUM THEATRE FOR INCLUSIVE SCHOOL WITHOUT VIOLENCE Seminar-workshop for teachers

Presentation of Interactive game, drama and theatre techniques used by teachers in their work in Serbian schools, developing a collective network as a base for improvement of innovative practices and introducing thè initiative for inclusión of game, drama and theatre into thè regular school curriculum. The Stimulation for implementing thè initiative, through presentation of their work and sharing thè experlence, give thè teachers, partner organizations and associations - particìpants of thè project „School Forum Theatre for School Without Violence", within thè UNICEF national program „School WithoutViolence", and thè project„Art and Educational lnciusion"that are being realized within thè wider program „Inclusive Education -from Practice to Politics" of thè Open Society Fund. The project is a continuation of thè program "Drama Primer" supported by Ministry of Educations and initiatives already set off on thè previous Bìtef Polyphony through thè program „Three School Comrades - Play, Drama, Theatre...", supported by Serbian Ministry of Culture, and thè project„From Dramatic Game to thè Forum of School Theatres", supported by UNESCO as a Participation Program.

Presentation of thè work of Cultural Centre Smederevo is a starting point for project presentations of other cultural institutions and organizations, together with thè discussìon on thè role of locai cultural centres as venues for new tendencies of youth theatre. Participaos in thè discussion and presentations: Belgrade municipality Zvezdara, Cultural Institution „Vuk Karadzic", Theatre Festival "Zvezdariste" and other representativos of cultural institutions and organizations from Serbia.

PATOS is an abbreviation from Mobile Alternative Theatre of Smederevo Youth, which brings together young people interested in thè art of theatre (professional actors, directors, amateurs, students from art faculties, as well as teenagers) around research and experimental theatre projects, often creating partnerships and cooperation with professional theatre Companies in thè country and abroad. PATOS is a strong gathering point for Contemporary and explorative art in Smederevo and surrounding región. The members of PATOS are not only actively invoived in thè artistic part of thè program, but also in organizaron and realization of thè festival PATOSOFFIRANJE.
