VII. When a Parsi dies leaving neither lineal descendants

Division of pro ZOP a widow nor widower, his or her next-ofperty when the in- kin, in the order set forth in the second ee ee Schedule hereto annexed, shall be entitled to nor lineal descend- succeed to the whole of the property as to ants, which he or she shall have died intestate. The next-of-kin standing first in the same Schedule shall always be preferred to those standing second, the second to the third, and so on in succession, provided that the property shall be so distributed as that each male shall take double the share of each

female standing in the same degree of propinquity.

VIII. The following portions of the Indian Succession Act and F 1865 shall not apply to Parsis (that is to xXe€Mpt1o Oo Pavciarfracn, eariaia say) the whole of Part III., the whole of Part parts of the Indian j i ~ : . Reon an TREE, TV. excepting section twenty-five, the whole of Part V., and section forty-three.

THE Frerst SCHEDULE.

(1.) Brothers and sisters, and the children or lineal descendants of such of them as shall have predeceased the intestate.

(2.) Grandfather and grandmother.

(3.) Grandfather’s sons and daughters, and the lineal descendants of such of them as shall have predeceased the intestate.

(4.) Great-grandfather and great-grandmother.

(5.) Great-grandfather’s sons and daughters, and the lineal descendants of such of them as shall have predeceased the intestate.

THE SECOND SCHEDULE.

(1.) Father and mother.

(2.) Brothers and sisters! and the lineal descendants of such of them as shall have predeceased the intestate.

(3.) Paternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.
