TELEVISION VIEWING in relation to television owners in the Socialist Repubhc of Serbia

The fact that not 70 рег cent of people who live in a household with a TV set watch television in a single day supports the claim that possession of a set is only a necessary but not a sufficient condition for achieving contact with television broadcasts. A | comparative survey of the relative ratio of the number of viewers with those who can watch television shows that the deviation from the average of the nine series is only + 3 per cent (in the second series of 1972 that percentage was 71 and in 1973/П only 65 рег cent). We сап state with certainty that it does not occur on average that all television sets in the Repubhc аге on at the same time or that those inhabitants of households which possess a TV set come into contact with television programmes. If we allow ourselves a httle forecasting of the future development of television in this Repubhc in the forseeable future, we can expect an increase in
