ON A GOOD TRACK About Guy, Roni, Eva and New Dance Forum Choreographers Guy Weizman and Roni Haver, as well as Eva Puschedorf their assistant and member of the dance collective named Club 'Guy & Roni', are not accidentally found themselves at the Serbian National Theatre. Namely, the negotiations with this recognized artistic couple considering their engagement in New Dance Forum of the Serbian National Theatre Ballet have lasted for two years. And here they are - choreographers of distinguishing reputation, artists who have had the pleasure of collaborating, as dancers as well as choreographers, with well acknowledged stars of the contemporary dance scene of Israel, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany etc... Among various engagements across the Europe, to our Ballet ensemble they've brought experiences that perfectly fit the imagined long-term program and plan of the New Dance Forum. If Forum, as a part of the Serbian National Theatre Ballet company, was founded with the aim of expanding interests in modern dance, with dancers as well as with the audience, pointing out to the margins of the performing art where dance, drama, various artistic expressions, installations and happenings meet, interweave and permeate; then after the last year's engagement of Jens van Daele (External and Internal Circles) and the play Fragments By Olivera Kovacevic Crnjanski and Sasha Asentic, the work of Guy Weizman and Roni Haver represents a step forward on this path. Energetic movement and ecstatic dance, followed by complex dramatic requirements and concrete dramatic tasks, make it even more layered and enrich the experiences that were foundation of recent Forum, but prepare it as well for the projects yet to come. So far Forum has been gaining experiences through various workshops organized with recognized choreographers of modern dance orientation (Jozef Nadj, Guy Weizman, Galina Borisova, Aleksandar Acev, Sinisa Bukinac, James Amar, Ivana Indjin), and the latest three productions Fragments, External and Internal Circles and now The Language of Walls are logical step in the ensamble development, enabling the acceptance of new dance technics and leaving space for further explorations, where drama elements are going to capture even more active place Aleksandar Milosavljevic THE CHOREOGRAPHER'S NOTE "I'll leave today, inviting the spirits, calling the puppeteers, major difficulty, old world, piano, more of the same, heat, strange smells. Join me? Silence. No silence. Worn out colours, crumbling skin. Deep feeling of a change, crossed change. Let go for a moment, the silence. It's being heard. Low. Are you coming? Do you recognize me? Where is she? I was worried, we had a deal. The bad would be over, simple. I would become tolerant. With a choice. I would be welcome. Become. Versatile, virtuosi. 24%. Another tradition. Never conscience. Never personal. Have some more. The good has become better. The bad. Has become: versatile, virtuosi. 42%. Same tradition, conscience. Remote. Personal. Good evening, shall I come?"
