TRAVEL TO THE CENTRE OF THE PICTURE. REFLEXIONS ABOUT MODERN CULTURE. VALENTINA TANNI is Italian art crtitic and curator, born in 1976. Member of editorial stuff in Artribune magazine. She is mainly interested in the relationship between art and new technologies and I often work in multimedia publishing projects. She was writing and publishing articles and insights for Exibart, Flash Art, Gulliver, Campus, Time Out Roma etc. She has been working as a teacher and lecturer for public and private institutions such are: La Sapienza University in Rome; Udine University; lED, Accademia del Lusso, Academia delle Arti e delle Nuove Technologies, etc.

Guest Artists: Marco Chesia, Milano and Swen - Erik Scheuerling, Hambrug (with the support of Kulturbehorde) Hard to 8e... Withing the time is realised by nKA- independent Cultural Association and 67 Bitef 13, with the support of Judicial Academy.

She will hold a lecture about the exibition Encyclopaedian Palace presented at the Venice Biennale this year, and about the position of young artists withing the context of contemporary art scene ■

Danilo Eccher

MODERN ART MUSEUMS IN ITALY; BETWEEN DEVELOPMENT AND CRISIS, BETWEEN CONSERVATIVE AND INNOVATIVE TENDENCIES

ĐANILO ECCHER is an Italian art critic and curator, born in 1953. He graduated at University of Bologna - College of Literature and Philosophy. From 1989 through 1995 he was Artistic Director at Galleria Civica d’Arte Contemporanea di Trento. He was a member of the artistic committee of the 65th Visual Arts Venice Biennial. From 1996 through 2000 he was the Artistic Director of Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Bologna. From 2001 through 2008 he was appointed Director of MACRO - Museo di arte contemporanea in Rome. In 2009’ he has been appointed Director at the GAM - Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Turin. Within his lecture, he will speak about the functioning of museums in times of crisis, dominant curatorial practise and trends in their work.
