Jedan od najpoznatijih savremenih evropskih skulptora, Jan Fabrje ovom predstavom napravio sintezu svoga pogleda na svet, vizuelnu umetnost i likovni izraz, predstavu koja predstavlja pravi početak Bitefa diji podnaslov glasi... no usijanom limenom krovu. Prometej je simbol pobunjenika protiv vrhovnog boga, koji je oteo vatru za dobrobit doveka i zbog toga strada. Koliko god se bogovi trudili da doveku oduzmu vatru, nema povratka. Tu gigantomaniju Jan Fabrje prikazao maštovito, prometejskom hrabrošću istinskog majstora savremenog teatra.

One of the most celebrated sculptors in contemporary Europe, lan Fabre has approached the making of this performance as a synthesis of his philosophy, visual art and painting, creating a performance which makes an excellent opening of the Bitef bearing the slogan "...on a hot tin roof. Prometheus, who stole fire from the supreme god for the benefit of the humans and was doomed to a punishment for the deed, symbolizes a rebellious nature, Gods did all they could to retrieve fire but it was of no avail. The striving towards the gigantic aims was presented by lan Fabre's imagination and a promethean courage of a true master of contemporary theatre.
